Levels of faith

Through your life your faith will go from points of being so high that you’re constantly praying, to points of being so low that you sometimes forget to pray. Its normal for your levels of faith to fluctuate because it can be difficult to stay strong in faith, especially when we live in a world where there are many distractions diverting us from the right path. We’re questioned by science and social media constantly on why we believe in a god we’ve never seen, or why we believe in a religion spread by an illiterate man in the middle of a dessert. But even though the prophet (pbuh) couldn’t read or write, he could deliver an entire religion and he could talk in front of hundreds of people because Allah gave him strength and faith to do so. And there came a time when the prophet didn’t receive a revelation for some time, and naturally, he became worried. Then Allah said ‘your lord has not forsaken you’.

duha

By the morning brightness. And by the night when it grows still. Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor does He hate you. and the future will be better for you than the past, And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world) Your Lord is sure to give you so much that you will be well satisfied. Did He not find you an orphan and shelter you? Did He not find you lost and guide you? Did He not find you in need and make you self-sufficient? So do not be harsh with the orphan. and do not chide the one who asks for help. Talk about the blessings of your Lord.

Subhanallah. So Allah tells us, he has not left us. Sometimes you may feel your faith isn’t as high as the faith of the famous scholars,or as high as you would like it to be, but it doesn’t mean you can’t be close to Allah. Of course we should all strive to be the closest to him that we can be, but know that its normal for your faith to fluctuate, and you shouldn’t become discouraged by it. Allah tells us he is closer to us than our jugular vein, so don’t lose hope because you might be at a low point. Things happen in life that will make you and break you, and thats okay, but through it all keep your salah and prayers in tact, and keep yourself remembering Allah and Insha’Allah you won’t feel dissatisfied. Remember Allah is with you wherever you are, you just need to find him.

May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah. May he forgive us and help us in all we do. May he send his mercy upon us because we were made weak. May he guide us and protect us along the straight path and grant us patience. May he bring ease to any hardship we may be facing, and may he keep the muslim ummah strong. Ameen.

And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein

And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein

sinning is human

Every muslim has sinned in some way. Some people sin more than others, and some people commit bigger sins than others, but thats how we were made. Allah didn’t make us perfect. Its how you react to your sin which makes you a good or bad person. When you sin, you feel a sense of shame and guilt, and you ask Allah to forgive you. You learn from your mistake, which can often make you a better person.

We hear of people, muslims, who have committed the worst of sins in the past who change to hold quran in their hearts. subhanallah. Allah guides who he wants, and if you see a muslim sinning, advise them and if you cant advise them, make dua for them. You never know when a muslim might change. People sin differently, and we shouldn’t judge people based on their past sins, because they may have repented and they may have a strong connection with Allah that you don’t know about.

There is hope for every muslim. Rather than judging each other we should stand together and guide each other. We should make dua for one another. Ask Allah to put the light of iman in their hearts. Sometimes that one big sin a person commits, and its consequences, can be the one thing which makes them realise they need Allah and his forgiveness more than anything.

indeed my lord is near and responsive (Quran 11:61)

indeed my lord is near and responsive (Quran 11:61)

If you have sinned, then turn to Allah and ask for his forgiveness. Don’t think your sin is too much for Allah to forgive because his mercy is greater than your sin. Don’t let it get you too down. Speak to your lord, ask for his forgiveness, regain a connection with Allah, and you might lose friends when doing so, but know if you have Allah you have everything. Most importantly, learn from your mistakes, and don’t judge a person based on his/her past. Some of the well-known islamic speakers  have a past behind them. We should help and guide one another to the path of Allah. Not dismiss each other because of our past sins.

“sometimes people with the worst past create the best future” -Umar Ibn Al Khattab (RA)

May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah. may he bring us closer to those we love and unite the muslim ummah. May he protect us from all evil, and make us successful in this life and in the hereafter. Ameen.

Societies views

society now a days seems to make everything thats against islam seem acceptable. A lot of the time people get drawn into that which is haram, and then use the excuse of it being ‘normal’. But they seem to forget that Allah is watching them all the time. That he sees and hears all that we do, and even if what you’re doing is good but different, know that its better than doing whats wrong, and normal. Whats made haram is haram for a reason. Its not to prevent you having fun or to stop you from having a social life. Its there to protect you, and to help you be a better person.

and he is with you wherever you are.

and he is with you wherever you are.

For example wearing a hijab. Depending on where you live, its not always seen as common, and it can be difficult when the latest fashion trends are against it, but its there to protect you from the eyes of men, its there to signify modesty and self respect, and its there to preserve your dignity and your beauty. Your beauty doesn’t disappear when you wear a hijab, its simply covered, saved for someone who will truly appreciate it. It shows theres more to a woman than just her looks, which society often forgets.

So if you’re strong enough to go against societies views on whats seen as normal, then know Allah is with you and he is inshaallah rewarding you for all the personal struggles you go through to please him. And if you’re struggling, then remember to please Allah before you please people, because sooner or later, this world will come to an end, and the people who did wrong because society allowed it, will be the ones wishing they had been different and obeyed Allah, not the media or its influence on whats seen as acceptable.

May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah, may he forgive us for all the wrong we may have done, may he protect us along the straight path. May he protect us from the deceptions of shaytan in this world and bring us closer to those we love. May he help all those suffering and grant them the highest place in Jannah. May he guide those who have gone astray and place the light of iman in their hearts. Ameen.

He knows what is in every heart

He knows what is in every heart

Allahs mercy

We were made human. We weren’t made perfect, we were made to make mistakes. sometimes Shaytan can get the better of us, and even though you know something is wrong, its as if the worst gets the better of you, and you do something you regret. Yet only after the deed is done, you feel a sense of shame and grief. A bitterness toward yourself.

At that point you should know Allah is near. Know that he’s close to you. You may have sinned but Allah is the all merciful, the all forgiving. So turn to him. Ask him for forgiveness, don’t let shaytaan deceive you into thinking your sin is ‘too bad’ for Allah to forgive you because Allah is the most powerful. Allah loves his believers and he knows we can be weak at times. He made us imperfect. So turn to your lord and ask him for forgiveness, and insha’allah he will guide you and take away that feeling of grief, replacing it with a sense of peace which comes only from worshipping Allah.

muslim-woman-praying

Thank him for guiding you, every day, thank him. Don’t take advantage of Allahs mercy either. Allah knows whats in our hearts, our very intention is known to him, so who better to turn to than the one who knows every thing about you, the one who created you? People make mistakes, and we shouldn’t judge others because they sin differently to us. They may be doing something wrong, but the best you can do is advise them and guide them, and if you can’t, make dua for them, because you never know when Allah will change a heart. May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah, may he forgive us and help us in all we do. may he bring us closer to those we love and save us from all evil. May he help all those suffering and grant them peace. Ameen

do-not-despair-from-the-mercy-of-allah

say oh my servants that have transgressed against themselves (by sinning) do not despair in the mercy of Allah. Indeed Allah forgives all sins. Indeed it is he the All-forgiving the All-merciful.

Freedom for Palestine ✌️

After attending the peaceful protest to free Gaza, and to stop the Israeli war crimes, I’m feeling somewhat uplifted to know that there is a lot of support out there for Gaza, and that it’s not just Muslims that see what’s happening is completely wrong.

We should all come together and do the best we can to help our brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering, so they know they’re not alone. May Allah keep the muslim ummah strong. May he help all those suffering and give them patience. May he keep their hearts strong and may he grant them the highest place in jannah. May he grant the children peace of heart and may he the almighty, put a stop to the oppressors. Ameen.

The Power Of Dua

A way of direct communication to your lord, the creator, the one who has power over all. Usually when you ask a person for something its seen as a favour, and when you keep on asking them they can become irritated with you. However when you ask Allah for something, he loves it, and when you keep on asking, his love for you grows. Subhanallah. So we should take this form of communication and use it constantly.

sincere-supplication1

Making dua is a way of remembering Allah the most merciful. The beauty about Dua is that there is no set time. You can make dua at any place, at any time, in wudu, and out of wudu. Allah has made it easy for us to remember him, and to ask of him, so why shouldn’t we? He is the one who has power over everything we do and so we should be asking him first for whatever it is we desire. Dua is described as ‘the weapon of the believer’ for a reason.

Sometimes that one dua could make all the difference, and if you feel like your duas aren’t being answered, seek patience through prayer and remember Allah can hear you. He hears the most silent of prayers, you don’t need to scream or shout, Allah is near, he is closer to you than your jugular vein so know that he hears your every call. You need to just be patient and trust him.

Happiness comes from Allah

The dictionary defines happiness as a quality of “good fortune, contentment, pleasure, and joy” Happiness is something many people search for, but not everyone finds. Only some people find true happiness, a few who are honestly blessed, and those people have everything they need. No, those people aren’t the ones that have all the money and fame, if money bought happiness celebrities wouldn’t end up in rehab or end up depressed. The people who know happiness are those who have tasted the sweetness of imaan. They have love for Allah, and they find peace and contentment in the remembrance of Allah.

Only Allah can bring true peace to your heart, and thats where happiness comes from. Allah created us for a purpose, and if you’re smart enough to realise that purpose is to worship him, then you are happy. Think about it, Allah made us, he is the one who created our hearts and so surely he is the one who knows best how to comfort it. People can offer comfort to a certain extent, but to be fully happy, you need Allah. You may have sinned but Allah is all forgiving and all merciful, so ask him for forgiveness and gain a strong connection with your creator because keeping that connection strong is what will keep you happy and at peace. You just have to take a step toward him, and insha’allah he will guide you the rest of the way.

May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah, may he forgive us and make us successful in this world and in the hereafter, may he guide us and protect us along the straight path, may he bring us closer to the ones we love and save us from the fire. may he help all those suffering and grant them peace and the highest place in Jannah. Ameen
