Faith in Allah

Having faith in Allah is believing that he is in control of what happens in our lives. We’ve got to remember that things happen for a reason and if our belief in Allah is evidently there then we have to trust him. Things might not always go to plan but believe in him and tell him what it is you’re working for and know whatever happens after that, is for the best. We need to believe that he is the one who sees everything we do. He knows our intentions and he knows what our hearts yearn for. He understands that we aren’t perfect human beings and he understands that we we have overpowering emotions, and that we make mistakes. But learn from those mistakes. Understand that Allah is with you wherever you are. He knows how you feel and what you’re thinking. He knows what it is you want but he will still listen when you ask him. He wants you to ask of him more. To believe in him to fully put your heart in his hands. And remember if you have Allah in your heart, you have everything you need to get what it is that you want in this life and in the hereafter. You just have to work toward it and pray for it.
Nobody promises that it will be easy. But having faith in him is moving forward even when you’re scared or unsure of what might happen. Follow your heart and keep praying and Insha’Allah you’ll get to where it is you want to be. Just have faith and trust in Allah. Stay patient with prayer and keep asking him. Constantly. Talk to him when you’re down, call upon your creator, because he will respond. Even if you don’t see it immediately know that he is there closer to you than your jugular vein so believe in him. You may not always be feeling particularly ‘religious’, and it’s normal for your faith to fluctuate, but if you let that faith in Allah remain in your heart no matter what, there is hope for you. Just pray and you’ll find that your closeness to Allah will get better. And that feeling of peace that Allah will bring to you when you trust him during hardship is something truly indescribable. You’ll only know once you’ve experienced it. The love of Allah is irreplaceable. So treasure it and work toward it and Insha’Allah , with his help, we will get where we need to be and we will achieve what it is we want to.
May Allah guide us and grant us jannah. May he forgive us for all the wrong we may have done. May he help us become successful in this life and in the hereafter. May he protect us from the evils of this world, the hellfire, and the deceptions of shaytan. May he grant our parents the highest of Jannah and may he give us strength to face the challenges of this world. Ameen.

Your own path to God

Every individual has their own story, their own views on life, and their own unique connection with god. Some may have not found their path to Allah yet, and some may have found their deepest connection with their lord earlier than others. You can find Allah through anything; sometimes he may test you to bring you back to him, you may find him through simply seeing something that inspires you, even through the acts of someone else. However you may find a path to your creator, let it be a reminder for you. When you’re feeling your faith is dipping, remind yourself of how Allah brought you closer to him. Remind yourself that no matter what there is always hope for you. Even if you feel like your sins have overtaken the good within you, know that Allah is all forgiving. Just believe in him, and repent, and if you’re sincere, you’re likely to feel a connection with your creator that nothing can compare to. faith Remember him in all you do, and when you feel like you’re slipping into the desires of this world too much, go back to that spot where you pray, and remember him, how your lord saved you when you fell and hit the lowest points, how he inspired hope in you after you prayed, how he forgives when you sin, how he’s there for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Allah is always there for you, watching you, knowing of every breath you take. Thank Allah for bringing you back into the light when you were lost in darkness. Its normal for your faith to feel like its dipping. Its unlikely that its always at a high point, but as long as you try, and you don’t let yourself fall into the likes of this world too much, insha’allah Allah will save us. You may find that the one big sin you committed, is the one thing that brought you back to Allah in the end. So we shouldn’t  judge someone based on their sins, because most of us may have a past. We can only pray for them and offer them a friend who will help guide them, because that could be all they need. As a muslim ummah we should be helping one another become better, rather than judging and dividing ourselves.

May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah. May he help us in all we do and grant us success in this world and in the hereafter. May he bring us closer to those we love and forgive all the sins we may have committed. Ameen

Here are 2 of my favourite videos on youtube that never fail to inspire faith in me when I’m feeling a little low.

Hope after Failure

There will always be things that don’t go the way we may have hoped. There will always be failures in life, but those fails only teach us. They make us stronger and allow us to learn from our mistakes. So they shouldn’t be seen as failures, rather as attempts. Maybe they teach you something, and maybe they reveal mistakes that you can then work upon. Either way we shouldn’t let our failures dishearten us. It can be difficult when your efforts seem to have not payed off, and it can be upsetting and frustrating, but Allah is always with you. He puts us in situations for a reason, you just have to trust him. And even if you do want to cry then cry in your prayers. Allah will listen to you, he won’t ignore your call. He is there for you all the time, so put your trust in him. Confide in your creator, the one who has power over all.

When you have failed, ask Allah for help and guidance, and work upon rectifying your mistakes. Its not the end of the world if you fail, theres always a second option. Even if that second option isn’t what you wanted, remember your lord in everything you do, and insha’allah he will make it easy for you. Ask Allah for what you want, and thank him for all that he has given you. They say to never underestimate the power of dua, and its true. You may feel like your dua’s aren’t being accepted right now, but think about it. Allah is listening to everything you’re saying, he knows exactly how your feeling when nobody else does, and he can hear everything you say. Subhanallah. So talk to your lord and ask him for help for guidance and for direction, and insha’allah he will guide us towards whats best. Never let your failures doubt your trust in Allah, because it could just be a test from him, to test your faith. So turn to him and ask of him more, tell your lord what you want because Allah loves those who remember him.

Don't be sad, Allah is with us

Don’t be sad, Allah is with us (Quran 9;40)

A world of deception

We live in a world filled with lies, something that was set up to make us fall down. To test us. A place where everything that seems to be bad can be seen as fun and good, and everything that is good can be seen as lame. We’re put in a place where theres a lot against us. A place where people live as if there is nothing left after death. But the truth is that this life is only temporary. A world made by The Almighty to test us. This world is made to knock you down, it was made to test your faith in Allah, to test your love for him. filled with deceptions of the shaytan, but keep strong in the faith of Allah. Hold on tightly to his rope, and when you feel yourself slipping too far into the dunya, then read quran. Read it in a language that you understand, listen to it. The words of your lord in a book sent to guide mankind. Let his holy text enter your heart and bring you back to the reality that your worldly indulgences aren’t forever.

It can be dangerous to fall too far into this dunya because eventually you will slip away from the one who created you. Remember him often, and remember him in all you do. Establish your salah to avoid forgetting your purpose in this life. Remember where you came from, remember who controls the breaths you take and who is in control of everything you have. Talk to your creator, one of the best parts of islam is that you have your creator closer to you than your jugular vein, a lord you can talk to about anything, any time of the day, and the best thing is that he already knows what you’re going to say. Just remember Allah in your daily life and avoid things that take you away from him. He is the one that judges you when your book of deeds are opened. So please him before anyone else. Don’t let this worldly life make you forget your true purpose.

Allah may test you, but he is always close to you. He sent us the Quran and the prophet (pbuh) as a guidance, so use them. Ask Allah for strength and guidance, in a world filled with deceptions. Stay strong in your faith and remember that just because the whole world may be doing something wrong, it doesn’t make it right. May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah. May he make us successful in all we do and give us the best in this life and in the hereafter. May he forgive all our sins and bring us closer to those we love. May he help us to do good and bring us closer to him. Ameen.

We all want to be better Muslims. Some of us may have more to change than others, however we all have our own individual connection with Allah. We are all on different levels of faith, so changing can sometimes be difficult. One person may pray their 5 salahs on time everyday without doubt but may struggle wearing hijab, whilst another person may be completely covered and dressed in an Islamic manner but struggle to wake up for fajr.
Just because it may be difficult to change it doesn’t mean it’s impossible. If you have the right intention and you’re willing to do something for the sake of Allah, then Insha’allah he will make it easy for you. Start off with something small, and then gradually increase the frequency, until eventually you’re exactly where you wanted to be. Don’t expect people to just immediately put on a hijab for example. It’s difficult. And it takes time, instead rather than judging that person, encourage them. Help one another to be better. Inspire one another. Allah didn’t make this world paradise. It can be a trial, especially when we live in a world where it can be difficult to stand out. But know that wherever you are, Allah is with you. And whatever struggle you go through to be better for the sake of him, he sees and he acknowledges. The most merciful, the most kind, he knows and sees all things, and he knows what’s in our hearts. Allah never leaves you, he may test you, but he is ALWAYS with you.

surah TaHa verse 26 ‘And ease my task for me’

So start off with a small step, and gradually begin to increase the good which you do and Insha’allah Allah will help us to be the best we can be. May Allah guide us and grant us jannah. May he forgive us for all the sins we may have committed knowingly and unknowingly. May he protect us from all evil and bring us closer to those we love. Ameen.

Being thankful isn’t always so common. We usually pray our most when were in need of something or when were in trouble, then once the almighty clears our path for us, we can slowly begin to decrease our concentration in prayer. But we shouldn’t. We should remember what Allah has done for us, all he has given us, and all he has blessed us with. Allah has blessed us with Islam, and with the knowledge that he is the one, the all hearing, the all seeing, the all knowing, and his attributes go on.

Allah is the one who puts you in the position you are in, and even though that may be difficult, thank him for everything he has blessed you with alongside that, then ask him for his help and ask of him. your lord always hears you, and he loves you to ask of him and to be thankful to him. No matter how difficult a situation may be thank Allah for all the blessings he’s given you, and if you feel like you have nothing worldly to be thankful for, thank him for blessing you with iman and faith. He has chosen you to be guided, he has given you a chance to get to Jannah, so don’t blow that chance.

‘The beautiful thing about communicating with your lord is that you don’t always have to put your feelings into words.’

Allah has picked you to follow islam and he has given you guidance to do so, to make it easy. So thank him. Thank him for the Quran and all it contains, its help, its guidance, its comfort, its hope. Thank him for the gift of Salah, being able to talk to your lord 5 times a day. Thank him for the power of dua, communicating with your creator any time you want and anywhere you want, whatever state you’re in. Thank him for being able to breathe, for life. Thank him for the people you love and ask him to keep those people close to you and to always keep those people happy. Thank him for guiding you and making you able to ask of him. Glorify and worship Allah in a way that will make your life content. Seek happiness and peace through his guidance, and seek comfort through prayer. Thank him for bringing you out of the darkness and into the light, thank him for helping you when you were at your lowest point, and thank him for being there when everyone else failed to soothe your aching heart.

Remember everything happens by his will, you can ask him of what you want and you can tell him what it is you’re feeling. and the amazing thing is, he already knows what it is you’re going to ask of, but he wants you to talk to him. Subhanallah. May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah. May he forgive us for all the wrong we may have done and protect us from all evil. May he bring us closer to those we love and may he help the muslim ummah come together. Ameen.

Sometimes one prayer changes everything

Hope in prayer is what I’ve recently discovered. The hope in Allah which is never lost, and the love he has for us. Those tears that come down your cheeks in the midst of prayer are counted. Those pleads to your lord that you say repetitively are heard. Those silent prayers which come from your heart when walking down the street are listened to. All by the one who created you. Subhanallah.

It might take more than one prayer to change something, and it make take time, but know he hears you. Even when all feels lost, Allah is with you wherever you are. He provides us with the knowledge that we can communicate with him at any time. Allahuakbar. He is there for you on the darkest of nights, he is there for you when you have committed a big sin and you want forgiveness, he is there for you when you need help, he is there for you when you need peace, and when all hope is lost he is there to inspire hope. He tells us to never lose hope in his mercy.

'So remember me; I will remember you. And be grateful to me and do not deny me' -Al-Baqarah 2:152

‘So remember me; I will remember you. And be grateful to me and do not deny me’ -Al-Baqarah 2:152

Speak to your creator, and tell him what you want, tell him what you need, and tell him often. Show your lord how much you want through communicating with him. Through remembrance of him. After your five daily prayers raise your hands to him, and ask him what it is that you need, what you desire, what you want achieve. Then thank him for all he has blessed you with. Allah never ignores the call of a believer. He never ignores a call to him. Stay patient with dua, things might not change overnight, but pray with the knowledge that Allah the most merciful, the most kind hears you. Your every prayer, your every move, your every tear, he knows.

Remember to thank him for all he has blessed you with, because the truth is we would be lost without him, we would be sucked into the deceptions of this world and we would be enticed into the plans of the shaytaan. So being able to pray to him and being aware of him is a blessing in itself. Thank Allah for blessing you with iman, and islam. Thank him for everything you have, and ask him for what you want. Your lord is there for you.

May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah. May he forgive us and bless us in all we do. May he bring us closer to the ones we love. May he help those in need and may he protect us from all evil. Ameen.

Levels of faith

Through your life your faith will go from points of being so high that you’re constantly praying, to points of being so low that you sometimes forget to pray. Its normal for your levels of faith to fluctuate because it can be difficult to stay strong in faith, especially when we live in a world where there are many distractions diverting us from the right path. We’re questioned by science and social media constantly on why we believe in a god we’ve never seen, or why we believe in a religion spread by an illiterate man in the middle of a dessert. But even though the prophet (pbuh) couldn’t read or write, he could deliver an entire religion and he could talk in front of hundreds of people because Allah gave him strength and faith to do so. And there came a time when the prophet didn’t receive a revelation for some time, and naturally, he became worried. Then Allah said ‘your lord has not forsaken you’.

By the morning brightness. And by the night when it grows still. Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor does He hate you. and the future will be better for you than the past, And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world) Your Lord is sure to give you so much that you will be well satisfied. Did He not find you an orphan and shelter you? Did He not find you lost and guide you? Did He not find you in need and make you self-sufficient? So do not be harsh with the orphan. and do not chide the one who asks for help. Talk about the blessings of your Lord.

Subhanallah. So Allah tells us, he has not left us. Sometimes you may feel your faith isn’t as high as the faith of the famous scholars,or as high as you would like it to be, but it doesn’t mean you can’t be close to Allah. Of course we should all strive to be the closest to him that we can be, but know that its normal for your faith to fluctuate, and you shouldn’t become discouraged by it. Allah tells us he is closer to us than our jugular vein, so don’t lose hope because you might be at a low point. Things happen in life that will make you and break you, and thats okay, but through it all keep your salah and prayers in tact, and keep yourself remembering Allah and Insha’Allah you won’t feel dissatisfied. Remember Allah is with you wherever you are, you just need to find him.

May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah. May he forgive us and help us in all we do. May he send his mercy upon us because we were made weak. May he guide us and protect us along the straight path and grant us patience. May he bring ease to any hardship we may be facing, and may he keep the muslim ummah strong. Ameen.

And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein

And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein

sinning is human

Every muslim has sinned in some way. Some people sin more than others, and some people commit bigger sins than others, but thats how we were made. Allah didn’t make us perfect. Its how you react to your sin which makes you a good or bad person. When you sin, you feel a sense of shame and guilt, and you ask Allah to forgive you. You learn from your mistake, which can often make you a better person.

We hear of people, muslims, who have committed the worst of sins in the past who change to hold quran in their hearts. subhanallah. Allah guides who he wants, and if you see a muslim sinning, advise them and if you cant advise them, make dua for them. You never know when a muslim might change. People sin differently, and we shouldn’t judge people based on their past sins, because they may have repented and they may have a strong connection with Allah that you don’t know about.

There is hope for every muslim. Rather than judging each other we should stand together and guide each other. We should make dua for one another. Ask Allah to put the light of iman in their hearts. Sometimes that one big sin a person commits, and its consequences, can be the one thing which makes them realise they need Allah and his forgiveness more than anything.

indeed my lord is near and responsive (Quran 11:61)

indeed my lord is near and responsive (Quran 11:61)

If you have sinned, then turn to Allah and ask for his forgiveness. Don’t think your sin is too much for Allah to forgive because his mercy is greater than your sin. Don’t let it get you too down. Speak to your lord, ask for his forgiveness, regain a connection with Allah, and you might lose friends when doing so, but know if you have Allah you have everything. Most importantly, learn from your mistakes, and don’t judge a person based on his/her past. Some of the well-known islamic speakers  have a past behind them. We should help and guide one another to the path of Allah. Not dismiss each other because of our past sins.

“sometimes people with the worst past create the best future” -Umar Ibn Al Khattab (RA)

May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah. may he bring us closer to those we love and unite the muslim ummah. May he protect us from all evil, and make us successful in this life and in the hereafter. Ameen.

Societies views

society now a days seems to make everything thats against islam seem acceptable. A lot of the time people get drawn into that which is haram, and then use the excuse of it being ‘normal’. But they seem to forget that Allah is watching them all the time. That he sees and hears all that we do, and even if what you’re doing is good but different, know that its better than doing whats wrong, and normal. Whats made haram is haram for a reason. Its not to prevent you having fun or to stop you from having a social life. Its there to protect you, and to help you be a better person.

and he is with you wherever you are.

and he is with you wherever you are.

For example wearing a hijab. Depending on where you live, its not always seen as common, and it can be difficult when the latest fashion trends are against it, but its there to protect you from the eyes of men, its there to signify modesty and self respect, and its there to preserve your dignity and your beauty. Your beauty doesn’t disappear when you wear a hijab, its simply covered, saved for someone who will truly appreciate it. It shows theres more to a woman than just her looks, which society often forgets.

So if you’re strong enough to go against societies views on whats seen as normal, then know Allah is with you and he is inshaallah rewarding you for all the personal struggles you go through to please him. And if you’re struggling, then remember to please Allah before you please people, because sooner or later, this world will come to an end, and the people who did wrong because society allowed it, will be the ones wishing they had been different and obeyed Allah, not the media or its influence on whats seen as acceptable.

May Allah guide us and grant us Jannah, may he forgive us for all the wrong we may have done, may he protect us along the straight path. May he protect us from the deceptions of shaytan in this world and bring us closer to those we love. May he help all those suffering and grant them the highest place in Jannah. May he guide those who have gone astray and place the light of iman in their hearts. Ameen.
